DESCRIPTION:We have decided it’s about time in 2026 to host a Cigar pairing event & this time\, you get to pick your poison…Bourbon or Port & Cigars! In this pairing event you will learn about\, while also enjoying\, 2 different cigars & 3 different bourbons/ports & why they go well together! If you are not into the cigar aspect & maybe just dabble with the drinkables\, or vice versa\, you are always welcome to participate in one or the other. Enjoying the cigars & it’s recommended pairings is simply a recommendation\, not a requirement! If you’d like to do both pairings\, we can also accommodate that for those that don’t want to choose & simply want to try it all! \nStraus Tobacconist owner Jim will go over the in’s & out’s of his cigar selections\, where they are from\, how to think about pairing a cigar with a spirit or port\, etc. Enthusiast or not\, this is a fun & educational event for cigar\, port\, & bourbon lovers alike. Jim will have extra of these selections available to sell to you\, along with additional cigar options to choose from that you can add to your personal collections or purchase as gifts for friends/family! \nThe Grape Vines Manager & Sommelier (Wine\, Beer\, & Spirits Expert) Hannah will be discussing the bourbon & port pairings selected for this pairing event. Two “Short Barrel” Bourbon selections from “Old Fourth Distillery”\, as well as Bower Hill Sherry Cask Finish Bourbon will be used as the 3 bourbon selections for this event. Ports from Quinta do Noval will be utilized in this pairing event\, which includes a tawny & a late bottled vintage port. \n2 out of 3 of these bourbons have under 30 cases total made & one of the Bourbon Selections is no longer being made…meaning\, once it’s gone\, IT’S GONE! A VERY select amount of all 3 bottles will be available for purchase by the bottle only\, WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! Their style consists of an acoustic duo that performs old to new country\, some originals\, & some classic rock/pop as well. They are a fantastic couple & a perfect complement to your date night. Be sure not to miss out on these two! \nDinner with the Grape Vines Bistro will be available for purchase from 6-8pm….stay tuned on the Menu for the evening!
